OUR HISTORY
What started from humble beginnings in a home kitchen in Melbourne’s Southeast, turned one woman’s dream to feed as many people as she could to today serving 1000’s of consumers a week across the country.
When Keiren Turnbull first began this small home-based business from her home kitchen in Malvern, she had no idea what it would eventuate to. Built on the simple value of “making great tasting food for the local community”, her business grew by word-of-mouth. As the orders grew, so did the family involvement, and the facility as within a few short years the business moved and based itself out of the kitchen facilities at the Prahran Football Club.
Again, it was not long till Keiren and her family took the business on the move again to its own facility in Mordialloc, where the business still lives today. By this stage, Kieren’s dream had become a reality as Meals in a Moment began to provide home delivered meals to the elderly, hospitals, health services, government agencies and the local community, which was nearly the whole state of Victoria.
Sadly, Keiren and husband both passed away to see where it has grown to today.
As their successor, youngest son Chris, stepping up to the reigns and built on the successes of his mother & father. Having been in the business since the age of 10, Chris knew what needed to be done and continues the dream and values of the business.

Meals In A Moment continues to be a progressive Australian family owned and operated company dedicated to offering the best quality, service and value money can buy. Ideal for anyone looking for the convenience of a healthy home delivered meal option, the meals are ‘home-style’ and the range and diversity of the menu appeals to Australian/English, Greek, Italian, Indian and Asian palates. In serving the community, for families we provide meals sizes for adults and children’, for singles or couples we offer generous ‘single serve’ options, and for light eaters ‘mini meal’ servings. Specialist dietary requirements are catered for; diabetic, gluten free, and texture modified menus are available.
In general, the cost is less than or comparable to mainstream takeaway and is a far healthier option for your family or loved ones. With no contracts or terms of use you can order weekly, fortnightly, monthly or as you require. Our success to date and growth throughout Victoria & NSW has been due to customer satisfaction and referrals from clients completely satisfied with Meals In A Moment’s understanding and flexibility to customer needs.
